This amends the closing date of the NPP posted at
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders from 4 July 2013 to 11 July 2013.  

Defence Research and Development Canada, Toronto, Ontario has a
requirement for the provision of Human Technology Interaction
Research support services. The objective of the work includes
the design, development and evaluation of human technology
interaction (HTI) concepts, and methodologies to improve overall
Human-Machine System (HMS) performance for the Canadian Forces.

Work will be performed on an as and when requested basis during
a three year period from date of award

The work will be carried out by a specialist team with
demonstrated training in Cognitive Psychology/Human Factors,
Computer Science/Computer Engineering, and Knowledge Management
or related fields. Please refer to the Request for Proposal for
the detailed technical requirements.

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) has determined
that any intellectual property rights arising from the
performance of the Work under the resulting contract will belong
to Canada, on the following grounds:  the main purpose of the
contract, or of the deliverables contracted for, is to generate
	knowledge and information for public dissemination
 
The estimated level of effort is  $884,000.00 GST/HST extra  for
the 3 year period.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
