    Description of the requirement:  Department of Indian Affairs
    and Northern Development (DIAND) has a requirement for the
    provision of informatics professional services for the provision
    of informatics professional services for The Business Decisions
    Support (BDS) Directorate, to develop, maintain and evolve the
    infrastructure of the Department's enterprise business
    intelligence services. Working collaboratively with other team
    members and DIAND representatives, the consultants will report
    directly to the project manager. These consultants will
    coordinate meetings with clients, develop technical and
    functional documentation, and perform other related tasks.
    
    The requirement is for various category resources on an
    "as-and-when-requested" basis that will be authorized through
    Task Authorizations.
    
    
    It is intended to result in the award of up to two contracts.
    
    The contract period will be for three years from the date of
    contract with an irrevocable option to extend the contract
    period for up to two additional one-year periods.
