Marine Procurement Outlook

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) lead this session at the H2O Conference hosted by the Ocean Technology Council of Nova Scotia (OTCNS) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on June 12, 2023. Presenters provided an overview of upcoming opportunities for doing business with Canada over the next two to three years.

Are you an Indigenous supplier in the marine industry interested in doing business with Canada? You are invited to join a networking event taking place as part of the H2O Conference to meet other marine suppliers and Government of Canada officials to explore opportunities. 

Please note that registration for this event still requires a conference pass for non-Indigenous Canadian marine industry suppliers who wish to attend H2O Conference.

Winnipeg Indigenous business information session

Public Services and Procurement Canada is hosting the Winnipeg Indigenous business information session. This session is in support of the Government of Canada’s efforts to meet and exceed the target of awarding 5% of the value of all federal contracts, including subcontracts, to Indigenous businesses.

The session will take place on February 16, 2023, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Central Time) at the Fort Garry Hotel located in downtown Winnipeg. The topics for this session will include:

Ontario Indigenous business information session on federal procurement

Public Services and Procurement Canada are pleased to invite you to an Ontario Indigenous business information session. The Ontario Indigenous business information session will take place online on January 18, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (Eastern Time).

The session will take place virtually on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Eastern Time) in French.

Information session 1: Overview of federal procurement for Indigenous businesses

Procurement Assistance Canada, National Capital Region, invites you to a series of Indigenous business information sessions! 

These sessions will provide an overview of federal procurement for Indigenous businesses (session 1) and discuss federal procurement opportunities available in the National Capital Region as well as offer opportunities for networking (session 2).  

Session 1 will take place virtually on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm (Eastern Time)

National Indigenous business information sessions on federal procurement

The Government of Canada is committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous businesses to succeed and grow. 

One of the key steps in this commitment involves setting an annual target to award at least 5% of the value of all federal contracts to businesses owned or led by Indigenous peoples. 

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) and its partners are pleased to host a series of national and regional Indigenous business information sessions to discuss federal contracting opportunities.
