    Description
    The project is located at Point Pelee National Park in Leamington, Ontario.   The project involves retrofitting an existing theatre at the Point Pelee National Park Visitor Centre into a new multi-use space that includes an 80-seat theatre and an adjacent multi-purpose room.  The spaces will be separated by a retractable wall that can be opened and closed depending on the use of space.   All mechanical and electrical systems will be upgraded in this area of the building. The roof will be replaced over the theatre and HVAC systems installed on the roof.  New exterior windows and doors will be installed. The project also include landscaping work in the grounds immediately around the Visitor Centre -- alleviating current drainage issues while providing better and more attractive visitor access points to the building and grounds though removing an existing berm, some trees, adding new concrete and a water feature.
    
    Site Meeting:
    There will be a site visit on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 9:00am. Bidders are asked to meet at the Visitor Centre, Point Pelee National Park, 1590 Point Pelee Drive. Leamington, Ontario, N8H 3V4.  Drive to the gate at Point Pelee National Park (1118 Point Pelee Drive).  The Visitor Centre is about a 10 minute drive from the park entrance.
    
    The contractor shall complete the work by March 31, 2016.  The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $500,000 to $1,000,000 (HST extra).
