    Description:

    The work required for this contract will be done in two phases:

    Phase I, from Award of Contract to December 18, 2015 inclusively (with public access as of December 7, 2015), includes but is not limited to the following: replacing concrete slab, repairing piers, replacing drainage system, repairing and painting steel elements of the bridge.

    Phase II, from April 4, 2016 to May 13, 2016 inclusively, includes but is not limited to the following : repairing abutments, replacing support system, expansion joints and approach spans of the bridge..

    Bid Security is required.

    Contractors must have $5,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Coverage.

    Optional Site Visit: There will be a site visit on October 27, 2015 at 10:00 am (local time). Interested bidders are to meet at the Atwater pedestrian bridge at the Lachine Canal NHS, Montréal QC.

    National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

    Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

    Delivery Date: The Work required must be completed on or before May 13, 2016.
