    WORK SITE LOCATION

    Catalina, Newfoundland

    EXPECTED START AND COMPLETION DATES

    The services of the Contractor will be commencing upon contract award. The expected completion date of this project is February 29, 2017.

    DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK

    Work of this Contract comprises the construction of two (2) H-Frame electrical transmission structures located at Catalina and Green Island Newfoundland. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

    • Accessing the sites.
    • Siting the location of the new pole structures.
    • Construction of the frames, installation of electrical hardware, and stringing conductor between the frames complete with aircraft avoidance balls.
    • Coordinating an electrical outage and relocating the conductors from adjacent poles onto the new structures
    • Demolition and disposal of the existing pole structures.

    MANDATORY SITE VISIT

    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder attends one (1) of the two (2) site visits being held on:

    • Friday, December 9, 2016
    • Wednesday, December 14, 2016

    Bidders must register with the Contracting Authority no later than 48 hours prior to confirm attendance and provide the following:

    • Preferred date
    • Name and phone number of the attendee
    • Name and phone number of the next of kin of the attendee
