5P201-17-5066 REHABILITATION OF THE SUPERINTENDENT’S RESIDENCE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Partial rehabilitation of Superintendent Residence Building at Sault Ste Marie Canal. Work includes verandah and carriage house rehabilitation as well as improvements to the foundation and water infiltration control systems.
MANDATORY SITE VISIST
There will be a mandatory site visit on Tuesday the 22nd of August at 1pm local time. Interested bidders are to meet at:

In the Superintendent’s Residence parking lot, across from the Red Swing Bridge.
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.
CLOSING DATE AND TIME
September 1st, 2017 at 2pm (EDT)
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The Contractor shall begin the work upon contract award and complete it no later than the 31st of March, 2018.

Parks Canada Procurement Unit provides services to the public in either official language of Canada.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
