Tasks, Activities, Deliverable and/or Milestones
Provide labour, materials, products and services necessary for the following work at Radiation Protection Bureau, 775 Brookfield Road, Ottawa, Ontario:
1. The modernization of one group of two buried hydraulic passenger elevators designated 1 and 2, in accordance with Section 14210.
2. The decommissioning of a single winding drum freight elevator, in accordance with Section 14220.
3. Act as the General Contractor for the scope of work detailed herein and provide a foreman or site supervisor on-site at all times during construction work.
The detailed scope of work is contained in the attached specifications prepared by KJA Consultants Inc.
Project Schedule- Expected Start and Completion Dates
The work is to be completed no later than March 31st, 2022 and can be performed during regular working hours Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. Noisy or work with smells, odours, dust must be completed after regular working hours from Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 06:00 or on weekends. When it is necessary to shut down building systems, or when entry into laboratory space is required, arrangements must be made with the Project Manager. These shutdowns can take approximately 3 weeks from receipt of the schedule until the shutdown/works can be completed. Details must be provided as to what portion of the system will be out of service and the duration.
