Wharf and Float Reconstruction, Port Clements Harbour, BC

The scope of work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for wharf repairs in Port Clements Harbour, BC in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

In general, the work under this contract will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:

.1 Replacement of entire timber wharf deck and timber wheel guard.

.2 Replacement of timber wharf cross braces.

.3 Bearing timber pile steel banding and patching.

.4 Reinstall existing rubber D-fenders that were removed during demolition. Supply and place all new fasteners.

.5 Replacement of Float timber decking, bull rail, joist and rub board.

Familiarization with site

Before submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense, to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid.
