Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: (CSA15-G6/ Building Envelope IAR-Bay 2- Anechoic chamber refit / David Florida Laboratory Building #65, 3701 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 8S2) Project description: Construction scope. .1 Complete retrofit of RF ATF-2 anechoic chamber and RF control room 123 including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, communication, fire detection & protection systems. .2 The successful bidder shall be responsible to provide all necessary labor, material & equipment required to carry out and modify all work needed as per issued for tender drawings & specifications. .3 Work to be done at Shirley’s Bay Campus, David Florida Laboratory - Building 65, 3701 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 8S2. .4 Work is to be conducted during the regular working hours of the facility Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. .5 Excessively dirty or noisy work must be completed after hours or during weekends. .6 Work is to be completed within twenty (20) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the followingcategory: $1,000,001 - $5,000,000. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: ***BIDDERS WHO ATTENDED THE SITE VISIT ON TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2017 AT 10:00AM UNDER SOLICITATION 9F030-160614/A ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ATTEND AGAIN BUT ARE WELCOME TO DO SO, FOLLOWING PROCEDURES IDENTIFIED HEREIN.*** There will be a site visit on Tuesday, March 21 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders who confirmed attendance shall meet at the Shirleys Bay Campus (where the David Florida Laboratory is located),Building #1 main reception, 3701, Avenue Carling, Ottawa. NOTE: Bidders must confirm attendance by e-mail to Moctar.fall at moctar.fall@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca by Thursday, March 16 at 2:00PM. Bidders must provide the information below toconfirm attendance: · full name; · representing company; and · if the individual is an international visitor. Bidders who do not confirm attendance and who do not provide the requested information willnot be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested tosign an attendance sheet. No alternative appointment will be given to bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative. Bidders who do hot participate in the visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Site Protocol: · Arrival: Report to building 1 to gain permission to enter thesite by registering as a CSA-DFL visitor (photo ID will be required). · Use Site Visit for Building 65 as the contact name and request visitor parking pass. · Badge: Guest badge will be issued which is to be worn and visible at all times, then · Parking: Park inthe visitor parking in front of building 65 (P9). Visibly display visitor lobby Reception desk. · A security Commissionaire and/or CSA-DFL Site Representative will be there to guide · Sign the site attendance sheet. · Departure: Return visitor badge to commissionaire at centre booth prior to exiting campus. CSA-DFL visitor (photo ID will be required) Site Restrictions: · Driving around the campus is prohibited without a secure escort. · NO cameras, cell phones, or ANY electronicdevices of any kind are allowed to be used. Small lock boxes are available at Reception to securely store suchsmall items or leave in locked vehicle.
