Extend closing date of the ITT to June 25, 2019. 2. Answer question from potential bidders and revise Specification item 17.1.C.5.4. 3. Introduce Drawing "Crew’s Mess Underlay" from Amd 005. Amendment 002 to the ITT is raised to: 1. Extend the closing date of the ITT; 2. Provide additional drawings; 3. Revise Spec to make changes to existing work and include additional work; 4. Revise Table: Deliverables After Contract Award 5. Provide minutes of the Bidders Conference. 6. Revise ANNEX H - Appendix 1 - Pricing Data Sheet - to make changes to existing work and include additional work. Amendment 002 in French to follow. Requirement: To carry out the floating refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Vessel CCGS Griffon in accordance with the associated technical information as detailed in Annex A - Statement of Work at the CCG Prescott Base located at 401 King street West, Prescott, On, K01 1T0. Bidders' Conference: A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at CCG at Coast Guard base in Prescott, Ontario at 401 King street West, Prescott, On, K01 1T0 on May 29, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 2 (2) Working Days before the scheduled conference to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Optional Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on May 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Coast Guard Base in Prescott, On. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than two (2) Working Days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Work Period: Commence: July 3, 2019 Complete: August 2, 2019 Additional Instructions to Work Period: The vessel will be manned during the work period and will be considered in commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care and custody of the CCG. Destination: The work shall be carried out at CCG Base in Prescott, Ontario. Sourcing Strategy: The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1(a). However, it is subject to the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada, in accordance with Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (2010-08-16). The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
