Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: The work to be performed consists in replacing the existing UPS, (Uninterruptable Power System) units (control units and batteries, dating back to 1988), with new systems and the replacement of the existing ATS (Automatic transfer switch) system dating back to 1988, with a new ATS to current codes and standards for the Correctional Service Canada, Port-Cartier Institution, Chemin de l'Aéroport, Port-Cartier, Quebec. It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on March 5, 2014 at 10:00 am at Correctional Services Canada, Port-Cartier Institution, Chemin de l'Aéroport, Port-Cartier, Quebec. Bidders will have to fill out the form « Institutional Access CPIC Clearance Request, form 1279 » which is included in the tender documents and transmit it by e-mail at: alain.bonenfant@csc-scc.gc.ca or by fax to Mr Alain Bonenfant of CSC at the following number (418) 766-4498, three (3) days before the visit. If the completed forms are not received three (3) days before the visit, access to the site might be refused to the bidder. Bidders will have to have the completed form in their possession for the site visit.
