Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: St. Peter's Canal Swing Bridge Replacement The services of a bridge engineering firm will be required to undertake the full planning; site inspection; conceptual design and design development; preparation of construction documents; technical assistance during tender and post tender period; construction and contract administration services; resident engineering services during the construction and warranty period; inspection and commissioning services; and post-construction services for the replacement of the St. Peter's Canal Swing Bridge The new St. Peter's Canal Swing Bridge shall satisfy the User Department requirements and meet current Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) standards. The design and construction of the new bridge must be conducted in an efficient, expedient and economical manner. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a One-Phase process, Proponents responding to this RFP are requested to submit only one proposal. Proposals are to cover the achievements of the Proponent on projects, achievements of key personnel, understanding of the project, scope of services, approach and methodology to the management of services and pricing. The Proponent whose responsive proposal achieves the highest total score is the first entity that the PWGSC Evaluation Board will recommend be approached in order to finalize details of an agreement for the provision of the required services. The purpose is to select the highest ranked experienced firm of consultants, sub-consultants and specialists to provide full engineering services.
