Training wall structures at Le Goulet have deteriorated and the gully entrance has become unstable. Reconstruction of the structure is recommended. Under the first phase, Structures #302 and #304 will be reconstructed using Berlin wall construction and rubble mound breakwater construction. The reconstructed structure will have training and breakwater capacity on the seaward side, and provide berthing capabilities on the inside face, with vehicular access to the wharf deck. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.044301.001 forming part of the bid document. The contract completion is seventy-five (75) weeks after contract award. New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requires attention. A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $5,000,001 - $10,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
