    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials for wharf reconstruction as detailed in the tender drawings and specifications. The works consists of the following:
    1. The work under this contract involves the encapsulation of existing structures 402, 403 and 404 located in Savage Harbour, Queens County, PEI.
    2. The work includes but is not limited to:  
    a. Partial removal of existing structures 402, 403, and 404.
    b. Supply and installation of new steel sheet piling encapsulation and steel wale system including new tie-rods and anchor blocks.
    c. Placement of 150 minus crushed rock infill, 75 minus crushed rock subbase and class A gravel base.
    d. Placement of reinforced concrete deck and cap beam.
    e. Placement of new concrete retaining wall including placement of asphalt pavement for new transition ramp.
    f. Placement of asphalt pavement for site reinstatements.
    g. Supply and installation of wharf accessories including mooring holdfasts, ladders, expansion joint, treated timber fenders, gangway connection brackets, new aluminium gangway, HSS galvanized wheel guard and PVC waterline.
    h. Electrical work as detailed on drawings.
    
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.117999.001 forming part of the bid document.  
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by March 31st, 2023.
    
    The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 (HST included)
    
    A non-public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Sherwood Business Centre, 161 St. Peters Road, 2nd Floor, Suite 204
    Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
