Project No: R.078904.001 Scope of Work Work of this Contract comprises of demolition, removal and disposal of the structures at the property of Hope Island located north-west of Penetanguishene, Ontario, identified as PWGSC Project Number R.078904.001. Work shall include provision of all equipment, machinery, tools, and other equipment required to perform the work. Work shall include provision of all labour, skilled trades, supervision staff, health and safety staff, sub-trades and other staff required to perform the work. The work shall include but no limited to the following: 1: Locate and protect marine cables. 2: Protect and maintain Navigation Light and Helicopter Pad. 3: Establish temporary construction access to the island as required to complete the work. 4: Demolition, removal and disposal of all designated substances and hazardous materials with accordance to regulatory requirements. 5: Demolition, removal and disposal of entire building structures and foundations of the following: - Boathouse. - Lighthouse. - Fog House. - Generator Building. - Residence 1. - Residence 2. - Wharf. - Concrete Pad. - Concrete Holding Tank Supports. - Concrete Rubble Pile. - Timber Mounted Signs. 6: Roughgrading of property. 7: Relocate existing rip-rap along shoreline. The duration of work is scheduled to be completed within Twelve (12) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. MANDATORY SITE VISIT : There will be a site visit on May 29, 2017 at 8:00AM, Interested bidders are to meet at the Marina, 79 Champlain Road, Penetanguishine, ON, L9M 2G2 Ontario. Contractor to supply own P.P.E (Personal Procetive Equipment) including hard hat and safety boots. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Vi sit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted. Bidders MUST register by 11:00AM, Friday May 26, 2017 with the Contracting Officer, Sheila Dhanna at 416-512-5855, or sheila.dhanna@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca to confirm their attendance and provide the name of the person who will attend. Note: Due to boat capacity, PWGSC(PSPC) is restricting 1 (One) attendee per bidder. We are limited to 4 (Four) bidders per day, starting May 29, 2017. An Alternative date will be schedule if May 29, 2017 has met its capacity. Journey time: 1 hour minimum each way. Now scheduling for Thursday June 1, 2017. Contractors MUST register by 11:00AM Tuesday, May 30th, 2017. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS SI02) Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
