    Work under this Contract comprises of the furnishing of all labour, material, tools, equipment, plant, and supervision required to rehabilitate the Hogs Back Fixed Bridge and Dam Piers and Abutments located on the Rideau Canal Waterway in Ottawa, Ontario.  The primary objective is rehabilitation of the piers abutments, retaining walls and the dam sill/apron/gains.  
    
    This is a two envelope, single phase selection process. 
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements; failure to comply will result in rejection of the bid. 
    
    Within the Invitation To Tender , the Crown sets out the project requirements, i.e., the particulars of the project itself and the broad scope of services required from the contractor.
    
    The Contractor must complete the work, restore and demobilize entirely from site by end of day May 1, 2020.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    There will be a site visit on August 14, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. (1300 Hours).  
    Interested bidders are to meet in Parks Canada Boat Launch and Parking Lot at 588 Hogs Back Road (south east of the fixed bridge).
    Bidders are to wear their own P.P.E (Personal Protective Equipment) including hard hat and safety boots.
    The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. 
    Bidders are requested to register 24 hours prior to the site visit, with the Contracting Officer, Sheila Dhanna at 
    sheila.dhanna@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, in order to gain access to the site.    
    
    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS
    
    IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS SI02)
    
    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. 
    
    Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay.  Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

Tenderers should note that Attachments  (ATT) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
