LaSalle Causeway Concrete Repairs EQ754-221279/A Project No: R.101343.040 Dhanna, Sheila Telephone No. (416) 315-9944 Fax No. (416) 952-1257 e-mail: sheila.dhanna@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca THERE IS NO SECURITY REQUIREMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS REQUIREMENT Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Branch have a requirement for Concrete Repairs at Lasalle Causeway, Kingston, Ontario. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on October 20, 2021 at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet at West exterior of the building, on the west wharf Lasalle Causeway, Kingston, Ontario Bidders are requested to register prior to the site visit with the Contracting Authority Sheila Dhanna at sheila.dhanna@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca to confirm their attendance and provide the name of the individual attending. Bidders or their representative who do not attend the scheduled site visit will not be given an alternative appointment. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site. COVID-19 Precautions Bidders are to preregister 72 hours prior to the site visit, if they are not preregistered they will not be permitted to attend the site visit Wear a Non-medical masks/face covering at all times while outside of vehicle. Maintain 2m social distancing at all time. Observe proper hand hygiene while on site. Sanitize hands before entering the building and after exiting. Attendees should bring their own hand sanitizer. Attendance will be taken by Bidders announcing their name and Departmental Representative recording (no list passed around). Bidder self-screening and declaration that not ill is required at arrival (see buyandsell.gc.ca attachment). Avoid social greetings (e.g. shaking hands). Temperatures will be taken prior to access to the site Also, you can use the screening tool in the link below which is provided by the province and the results can be emailed to Sheila Dhanna at sheila.dhanna@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca COVID-19 worker and employee screening (ontario.ca) SCOPE OF WORK The Work consists of various concrete, metal, earth work, utilities and asphalt installation, maintenance and repairs to the Lasalle Causeway. Construct, plan and coordinate Work and Schedule to accommodate Bascule Bridge operators and Bell continued use of premises during construction. Obtain necessary permits and installation of environmental control measures. CONSTRUCTION TIME The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 10 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. CHANGES OR CLARIFICATIONS Any changes or clarifications will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document. Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid.
