    Port Stanley Light Non-Aqueous Phase Liquid (LNAPL) Remediation 
    
    Amendment No. 006 is issued to provide an extension to the tender closing date from Thursday, June 9, 2016 to Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. 
    
    Work ofthis contract comprises removal, by means of excavation and off-site disposal, of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil from within the groundwater table fluctuation zone (smear zone), backfilling the excavation works to re-instate grades and restoration work required to reinstate site conditions within the East Headlands and West Pier sections of the Port Stanley Harbour.  The site is made up of two parts- the East Headlands and West Pier Areas 1and 2 located on either side of the Port Stanley Harbour in the Municipality of Central Elgin, Ontario.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    There will be a site visit on 25 May 2016 at 12:00 noon. Interested bidders are to meet at main parking lot, 171 Main Street, Port Stanley, Ontario  N5L 1C4.
    
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.
    
    Bidders must communicate with theContracting Authority prior to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending. 
    
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 11 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
