The HVAC upgrades include replacing the main air handling unit for the building, as well as the AHUs for the central stores and the LAN room, upgrading the boiler plant, replacing the chiller on the roof, and switching from pneumatic to electronic VAV boxes in the administration area. INDUSTRIAL SECURITY RELATED REQUIREMENTS At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Security Clearance as indicated in section SC01 of the Supplementary Conditions. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. Optional Site Visit An Optional site visit will be held on October 20 , 2016 at 10:00AM Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at the site, Parry Sound Canadian Coast Guard Base, 28 Waubeek St, Parry Sound, On P2A 2W9. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be givenan alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twenty four (24) weeks from the date of notification ofacceptance of the offer.. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS(REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS SI02) Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If such a listhasnot been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must alwayssubmit the listof directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named inthe aforementionedlist within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
