Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Bath Millhaven Institution Roadway Resurfacing EQ734-220448/A Kwan, Isaac Telephone No. - (343) 573-3068 Roadway Resurfacing DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Real Property Branch requires a qualified general contractor to carry out ASPHALT ROADWAY RESURFACING AND RELATED WORKS at Correctional Service Canada (CSC), Bath and Millhaven Institutions, located on Ontario Highway 38, near Bath, Ontario. This work shall be in accordance with the Specifications for Project No. R.1087522.001 Roadway Resurfacing dated 2021-06-01 and their respective Drawings. The work includes but is not limited to: removal and replacement of asphalt surfaces and related civil works, site grading, improving drainage earthworks, and providing, replacing and/or repairing drainage structures. The work, and contractor’s associated activities will be preceded in all instances with the contractor installing and maintaining Environmental Impact Mitigation Measures per legislated standards, and as specified in the Specifications and Drawings. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on July 21, 2021 at 9:30am. Interested bidders are to meet at Millhaven Visitor Parking Lot at 5775 Bath Road, Bath ON. drop grid ref: 44.194920667440336, -76.75286941230297 into Google maps. Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer Isaac Kwan by email at Isaac.kwan@pwgsc.gc.ca. The deadline to register is Monday July 19, 2021 at 9:00am. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site. COVID-19 Protocols for Site Visit: a. Only two bidders from each company permitted b. Wear a Non-medical masks/face covering at all times while outside of vehicle. c. Maintain 2m social distancing at all time. d. Observe proper hand hygiene while on site. Sanitize hands before entering the building and after exiting. Attendees should bring their own hand sanitizer. e. Attendance will be taken by Bidders announcing their name and Departmental Representative recording (no list passed around). f. Bidder self-screening and declaration that not ill is required at arrival (see attachment). g. Avoid social greetings (e.g. shaking hands). COMPLETION DATE The contractor must perform 50% of the scope of work by March 31, 2021 and the remaining 50% during April 1, 2022- August 30, 2022.
