This project involves the supply of all labour, equipment and materials required to complete Phase C of the streetworks upgrades within the Waterton Townsite, Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta.  Phase C must be completed prior to December 31, 2017. 

The work required in phase C includes, but is not limited to: removal and replacement of asphalt roadway, milling and resurfacing of asphalt roadway, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks (including curb and gutter and wheelchair ramps), water line and sanitary sewer demolition/abandonment and replacement (including manhole repair and installation), and storm sewer line installation (including catch basin and drain manhole installation), landscaping and utility relocation. 

Key milestones include the following: 

1. Alley 2 - Block 39 Pipe burst  Complete by  Oct 6 2016

2. Cameron Falls Drive   Complete by May 17,2017 (including all utilities, paving, landscaping, line painting, etc.) 

3. Clematis/Vimy (utilities)   Complete by May 17,2017
  
4. Clematis/Vimy (millings placement) Complete by May 17,2017

Paving Complete Complete by November 30, 2017 (Summer work not  permitted)  

5. Harebell/Alley 6 (utilities & millings)  Complete by Sept 30, 2017 (Summer work permitted)

7. Bertha/Evergreen N- Back Alley Complete by November 31, 2017 (Summer work not permitted)


NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site.

There  will be an optional site visit on Monday August 29, 2016 at 1 pm.   Interested bidders are to meet at the 3rd floor boardroom, Parks Canada Operations Building, 100 Compound Road, Waterton Park, Alberta. 

Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  

NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canadatendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Faxed submission will NOT be accepted. Only revisions are accepted via fax.
