Work Description: 
The project comprises of the partial building envelope repair of the gulf of Georgia Cannery, located at 12138 fourth Avenue, Richmond, BC. The Work to be performed includes:
- Providing temporary hoarding if needed
- Reviewing testing reports provided with Contract documents
- Preparing and painting artifacts such as the Stinkeroo, fish oil tanks, pipes & valves
- Repainting Barometric Condenser  
- Repainting and Relocation of Ice Machine 
- Preparing surfaces and repainting smoke stacks, Stinkeroo stack and dryer shed stack
-Reviewing guy wires at smoke stacks and barometric condenser
-Making localized repairs at Cedar ShingleRoofs

The Contractor will either furnish a 100% two (2) year Maintenance Bond in accordance with MPI Repainting requirements (and one (1) year on Wood Fences) or provide a Paint Association warranty.

The Contractor shall cooperate with Parks Canadain scheduling operations to minimize conflict and to facilitate usage.

Site Visit: 
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

There is an optional site visit for prospective bidders on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 am PDST at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Administration building located at 12138 Fourth Avenue, Richmond, BC.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within eighteen (18) weeks of Contract award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
$400,000 to $450,000.
