    Work Description: 
    The Work comprises of the following at the Mission Institution, Living Unit (LU) 1 to 5, at 8571 Stave Lake Street, Mission, BC:
    -Remove existing furniture (including all double bunks), in all LU1 through 5 cells excluding the 10-C25 cells
    -Removetop bunk and ladder only from the 10-C25 cells
    -Make good associated surfaces affected by the construction process. Fill existing boil/fastener holes with security sealant. New paint touch 
    up over applied sealant to match existing wall colour.
    -Install new cell furniture in 218 cells in LU1 to 5 excluding the 10-C25 cells. The pre-purchased furniture is stored at Matsqui Institution Bu
    ilding.
    -All furniture to be bolted in place and security caulked at furniture to wall & floor connections. Applypaint touch up after installation fo
    r scratches and damages.
    -Furniture to include bed, desk, wardrobe, medicine cabinet, slope topped breakaway cloth hooks, and mirror. Beds, desk, wardrobes and medicine cabinets will be -pre-purchased by the Departmental Representative and installed by Contractor. Cloths hooks and mirrors will be purchased and installed by the Contractor.
    -Furniture and layout to confirm to the style and placement previously completed in the 10-C25 cells but without upper bunk and ladder.
    
    Site Visit: 
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    A site visit is scheduled on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 9:30am PDST, at the PWGSC Site Office at Mission Institution, located at 8571 Stave Lake Street, M
    ission, BC, V2V 4L8.
    
    A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites.  Contractors attending the site visit are required to
     show one (1) piece of government issued ID, such as a Drivers License.
    
    All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop computers are allowed into inst
    itutions at any time.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete within twenty (20) weeks of Contract award.

    cost between $275,000 to $325,000.
