TITLE:  
South Float and Wharf Reconstruction
 
LOCATION: 
Small Craft Harbours, 6790 Wharf St, Powell River, BC 

WORK DESCRIPTION:
In general, the nature of work consists of light timber float and timber wharf repairs in the Powell River South Harbours. 

The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: 

Timber Float repairs: 
- Replacement of ALL floats bull rails, risers, rubboard, ladder, flange blockings, and of ALL bolt and washer hardware 
- Replacement of SOME floats flanges, pontoons, decking, pile wells complete with rub wear UHMW 

Timber Wharf repairs: 
- Replacement of ALL decking, handrails and timber curbs (wheel guard). 
- Supply of miscellaneous materials. 
- Site cleanup and disposal. 

SITE VISIT:
There will be no scheduled site visit.

Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

DELIVERY DATE:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed by March 18, 2019.

VALUE OF PROJECT:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $525,000.00 and $560,000.00 (GST Extra).
