Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. -------------------------------- Lockport, Manitoba, St. Andrews Lock and Dam, Stoplog Fabrication and Lock Repairs Work under this Contract will include, but is not limited to, the following at St. Andrews Lock and Dam, Lockport, Manitoba: general construction to fabricate new steel stoplogs and conduct lock repairs; as more fully described in the Drawings and Specification. The project is located at the St. Andrews Lock and Dam in Lockport, Manitoba. Lockport, Manitoba is a small community located approximately 28 km north of the City of Winnipeg on PTH 44 between PTH 9 and PR 204. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on June 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM, at St. Andrews Lock and Dam, Lockport, MB. Interested bidders are to meet on the west side of the dam in the gravel parking lot off of River Road. Site visit attendees will be required to wear a face mask and observe social (physical) distancing guidelines. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, the estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. LISTING OF SUBCONTRACTORS: Take note that R2710T, GI07 Listing of Subcontractors and Suppliers has been amended. See SI08 of the Special Instructions. Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
