    The Work under this contract shall include the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of all work, as more fully described in the drawings and specifications, for the gate and fence repair and replacement, Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. 
    
    Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between: $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.
    
    An optional site visit is scheduled for:
    1. It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit on January 10, 2018 at 14:00h CST. Interested bidders are to report to Building A03, Works Department of the Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
    
    2. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 16:00 CST January 5, 2018 to confirm attendance, and provide the full legal name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, and the legal name of the company they represent. 
    
    3. The use of electronic equipment is not permitted by attendees during the site walk-through. 
    
    4. Photo identification is required to be presented by each attendee at the time of the site walk-through.  Attendees without photo identification will not be permitted to attend the site walk-through.
    
    5. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid documents through the Government Electronic Tendering (GETS) service provider at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders .  Firms that obtain bid documents from a source other than the official site run the risk of not receiving a complete package.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, from the Government of Canada web site, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. 
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
