NOTICE:
The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.

Description

To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) Caporal Kaeble and (CCGS) A. Leblanc during the winter layout at the Sorel Wharf of the Canadian Coast Guard Base, Sorel, QC, in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Requirement attached as Annex A. 

To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in paragraph above

BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be convened on board vessel CCGS Caporal Kaeble at 10:00 am, February 1, 2017. The vessel will be moored atFisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC) J3P 4J4.

An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, January 30, 2017.

VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):
A site visit of the ships will be held immediately after the bidders’ conference.


Work is to commence and be completed as follows:

Start:  From the Contract award date
End:   April 1, 2017
