    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    DESCRIPTION:
    To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) Amundsen, during the spring and fall 2018 layouts in the Port of Quebec, Quebec (QC), in accordance with the Technical Specifications entitled ; ‘’ AMUNDSEN REFIT SPRING 2018 ‘’ and all related drawings and other technical documents.
    
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
    A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be convened on board vessel CCGS Amundsen at 9:00 am, March 15th, 2018. The vessel will be moored at Section 97 in the Port au Quebec.
    
    An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, March 13th, 2018.
    
    VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):
    A vessel’s viewing will be held immediately after the bidders’ conference.

    (For optional work only, at Canada’s discretion)
    Start: October 19th, 2018 or as per ship’s availability. (At the earlier date.)
    End: December 6th, 2018
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter 10 Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
