WORK SITE LOCATION :
Charron Island, Quebec
DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK :
The Canadian Coast Guard’s project is to restore the radar tower at Charron Island including roofs, doors and windows according to the specifications and drawings. Items required to complete the project include but are not limited to :
- Scaffolding, temporary stairs, ladders and any other lifting equipment
- Repair cracks and paint by complete of section of wall
- Remove existing casement windows and install new aluminum windows.
- Remove existing doors; install new doors made of galvanized steel including frames and hardware.
- Prepare and install a new dispersion acrylic protective coating on existing concrete (outside)
- Remove existing steel platform and reinstall 300 mm higher than the current height. Install a grating section.
- Roofs, new roof hatch, membranes, install new walkway, etc.
- Diverse repairs (floor covering, etc.)
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical work
- Cleaning
EXPECTED START AND COMPLETION DATES :
The services of the Contractor will be commencing upon contract award. The expected completion date of this project is June 30, 2017.
