Title: Fort Malden Range Towers Replacement Project
Location: Amherstburg, Ontario
Summary:
Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to:
.1 Mobilize to the sites in two phases to complete the required fieldwork;
.2 Remove and dispose of existing towers and their foundations;
.3 Install two [2] new foundations for new Aid to Navigation (ATON) towers;
.4 Install two [2] new ATON towers, including daymarks and other appurtenances, as per attached drawings;
.1 One 25ft [7.65m] self-support steel tower; and
.2 One 55ft [16.8m] self-support steel tower.
.5 Backfill and compact excavations;
.6 Restore the sites in their entirely; and
.7 Demobilize from the sites.
The following work will be undertaken by others and is hereby excluded:
.1 Supply of new towers;
.2 Supply of new day marks for installation on the new towers;
.3 Supply and installation of lanterns, batteries and solar panels onto new ATON towers;
and
.4 Installation and configuration of temporary aid.
Project Start and End Date: from date of Contract Award to October 30, 2020
