Request for Proposals:
Long Distance Services For Shared Services Canada
- Definition of requirement: This bid solicitation is being issued by SSC to satisfy the requirement for Long Distance Telephone Service (LD). The purpose of this service it to enable Government of Canada employees to make long distance calls from land lines, including LAS, PBX, VOIP and business lines, to any location in Canada, the United States (U.S.) and international locations.
The resulting contract will be used by SSC to provide shared services to its clients, that include SSC itself, those government institutions for whom SSC’s services are mandatory at any point during the Contract Period, and those other organizations for whom SSC’s services are optional at any point during the Contract Period and that choose to use those services from time to time.
In the last 18 months, Canada consumed between 11 and 18 million minutes per month.
SSC intends to award the contract for a period of 4 years, plus 4 one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.
The requirement is articulated in the attached Statement of work.
