NOTICE AMENDMENT # 1 Bid closing: February 3, 2015 @ 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time ORIGINAL Requirement: To carry out the docking, maintenance and alterations of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel "CCGS Leonard J Cowley" in accordance with the provided Specification, Rev.7, dated December 1 2014. Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes. The bid must take into account a maximum budget of $9,000,000.00 Bidders' Conference: A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at CCG Base 280 Southside Road, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, on January 15, 2015 @ 1300. Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on January 13 and January 14, 2015 @ 0900 on board the vessel at the CCG Base 280 Southside Road, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador Destination: The work shall be carried out at Contractors facility. Work Period: Work Perod: February 26, 2015 Complete: November 5, 2015 Additional Instructions to Work Period: The vessel will be unmanned during the work period and will be considered to be out of commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care and custody of the Contractor and under its control. The vessel will have to be made completely habitable for the ships crew by October 19 2015. Sourcing Strategy: The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4). Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
