    Requirement:
    To carry out the docking, maintenance and alterations of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel Des Groseillers in accordance with the Statement of Work dated 1st December 2017.
    
    Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes.
    
    Bidders' Conference:
    A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Quebec City on 21 December 2017 @ 9:00am
    
    Site Visit - Vessel:
    The viewing will take place on 20 December 2017 starting @ 08:00 in the Port of Quebec, berthing location to be announced.
    
    Destination:
    The work shall be carried out at the Contractor's facilities.
    
    Work Period:
    Commence: 22 April 2018
    Complete: 28 June 2018
    
    Additional Instructions to Work Period:
    The vessel will be unmanned during the work period and will be considered to be out of commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care and custody of the Contractor and under its control.
    
    The vessel will have to be made habitable for the crew by 18 June 2018.
    
    Sourcing Strategy:
    The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
