This notice amendment is hereby raised to affect the following:
1. To Extend Bid Closing Date to July 20, 2016
2. To upload missing drawings associated with the Solicitation

Requirement:
To carry out the floating refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Vessel CCGS Griffon in accordance with the associated technical information as detailed in Annex A - Statement of Work - Specifications No. 814.15.
Vessel Transfer Costs for each vessel will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes.

Optional Site Visit:
Optional site visits will be held at 09:00am on June 21, 2016 and June 22, 2016 at the Canadian Coast Guard Base, 401 King Street West, Prescott, Ontario. 

Bidders’ Conference:
A bidders’ conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at 1:00pm on June 22, 2016 at the same location.

Destination:
The work shall be carried out at the Contractor’s facility.

Work Period:
Commence: August 10, 2016. 
Complete: November 2, 2016.

Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcingstrategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
One contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
