SERVICE RESPIRATOR Amendment 030: Respond to questions The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has a requirement for theJoint CBRN GSR system to replace the respiratorsthatare currentlyin service. Two (2) contracts will be awardedconcurrently to a single contractor as a result of this competitive procurement process. The Joint CBRN GSR System is defined to be all of the items provided by the Contractor to meet the Statement of Work. The first contract is for the acquisition oftheJoint CBRN GSR system. The requirement is for 62,000 Joint CBRN GSR Systems with an option to purchase additional quantity of up to 15,800.The contract is for a period of up to 24 months after contractaward. The second contract is for the provisionofIn-Service Support (ISS) which is defined in Annex D - ISS SOW. This ISS Contract will be awarded the same day as the Acquisition Contract andeffective no later than 12 months after the Acquisition Contract Award with theoptionto extend for upto four(4)additional two (2) year periods. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
