Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement to construct a new Government of Canada Building (GOCB) located in Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick.  The Work under this Contract will include, but is not limited to the supply of all labour, materials, and equipment necessary for the general construction of a new GOCB and a separate Cold Storage Building.  The Work also includes associated site and civil work; including landscaping, asphalt paving and any necessary remedial work.  All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.069499.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall complete the work within one hundred and ten (110) weeks from award.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  The site visit will be held on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at 11:00 AM.  Bidders are asked to meet at the corner of Laplante Road and Saint-Jean Street, Saint-Léonard, NB.  Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 2 day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

New measures related to Integrity Provisions are included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: greater than $5,000,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
