Centre Pier Copewall - Wood Islands Ferry Terminal - Prince Edward Island

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for a centre pier copewall at the Wood Islands Ferry Terminate, Prince Edward Island.  Included in the work is: Mass concrete demolition and disposal, installation of new reinforcement, placing and cold weather curing of new concrete as well as bollard installation and minor electrical work. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.077637.001 forming
part of the bid document. 

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions. There will be an optional
site visit on January 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interested bidders are to meet at the outside of the Passenger Terminal Building to be accompanied by PWGSC representatives to the worksite at the pier. Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requires attention. 

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,001.00 to $1,000,000.00 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
