The work under this contract involves the supply of all labour, materials and equipment required for the construction of a new visitor’s center at the Green Gables Heritage Place, as described in the project drawings and in the specification for 8619 Cavendish Rd, Cavendish, PEI.

Work includes but is not limited to:

•This project phase includes a 1200 square metre single storey new building on the property of Anne of Green Gables in Cavendish PEI.
•Work also includes a revision to the parking lot access point of Highway 6, expanded parking as well as changes to landscaped pathways and planting.  
•The building contains a new exhibit hall, Gift Shop, Office Area, Ticket offices, Lobby and Washroom and other support facilities. It’s main structure is a Mass Timber frame with steel connectors on slab on grade construction. 
•The building is also pursuing LEED Gold Certification through the Canada Green Building Council.

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number: -R.081199.001 forming part of the bid document.

The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category:  $5,000,000 - $10, 000,000.00 (HST extra).

The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by June 15, 2018.
 
New measures related to integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
