Requirement: To carry out the docking, maintenance and alterations of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel Pierre Radisson in accordance with theprovided Statement of Work dated 31 May, 2016. Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes. The bid must take into account a maximum budget of $8,400,000. Bidders' Conference: A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Quebec City on June 17, 2016 @ 9:00am Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on June 16, 2016 @ 08:00 in Quebec Harbour. Berthing location to be announced. Destination: The work shall be carried out at the Contractor's facilities. Work Period: Commence: September 6, 2016 Complete: January 31, 2017 Additional Instructions to Work Period: The vessel will be unmanned during the work period and will be considered to be out of commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care and custody of the Contractor and under its control. The vessel will have to be made completely habitable for theships crew by January 3 2017. Sourcing Strategy: The sourcingstrategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subjectto the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement isexempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
