Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) survey of the proposed feeder route to identify existing underground obstacles prior to trench excavation. 2. Installation of underground ducts and junction boxes including tie-in to existing concrete manholes. 3. Push conduits under paved access roads. 4. Road restoration of trenching across gravel access roads. 5. Installation and connection of the owner supplied feeder cable. 6. Removal and disposal off-site of all existing feeders made redundant by their replacement. The airport must remain OPERATIONAL throughout the construction. Site Visit: There will be a site visit on May 6, 2014 at 10am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Airport Maintenance Garage, Port Hardy Airport, Port Hardy, B.C. Construction Time: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twelve (12) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the bid. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. This procurement office provides procurement services to the public in English. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
