    TITLE
    
    Wharf Extension, Reinforcement, and New fenders - Cap-aux-Meules, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Québec
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    
    Work of this Contract comprises the construction of the wharf extension works and upgrades at Cap-Aux-Meules. 
    
    WORK DESCRIPTION
    
    The works consists of the following:
    - Refurbishment and upgrade of the existing wharf;
    - Construction of a new turning dolphin;
    - Design and construction of an aluminum catwalk that will connect the existing wharf to the new dolphin;
    - Removal and salvage of the existing berthing fenders, and a portion of the existing mooring bollards;
    - Installation of new mooring bollards and berthing fenders
    
    BIDDERS CONFERENCE / SITE VISIT
    
    There will be no site visit. Before submitting bid, Contractor is responsible to get all necessary information regarding conditions that may affect the execution of the work.
    
    A MS TEAMS virtual bidders conference will be held on October 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. To register, bidders shall communicate with the Contracting Authority by email at Isabelle.Girard@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca
    
    SUBMISSION OF BIDS
    
    Bids must be submitted by using the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation.
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    
    The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid.
    
    PERIOD OF WORK
    
    The contractor must perform and complete the work no later than June 1, 2022.
