MDS/PIDS REPLACEMENT - PAC. INSTIT.


The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a requirement for
the MDS/PIDS Replacement.

The work includes the design, supply, installation, testing and
provision of operational and technical training on the MDS/PIDS
Replacement as described in the Statement of Technical
Requirements (STR) (Refer to electronic Attachment #1).

The Pacific Institution is a maximum security institution.  Work
will have to be accomplished with minimum disruption to the
daily operation and security of the institution.

The work is requested to be completed within 28 weeks after
contract award.

A mandatory site visit will be held at the Pacific Institution
at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC on January 15, 2015 at 10:00
am.  Bidders must attend the site visit to be given
consideration.

The bidder must have at least one attendee at the site visit and
the onus is on the bidders to arrive at the site in a timely
manner.  Bidders arriving late may not be permitted to attend
the site visit.

It is also a mandatory condition of this requirement that all
attendees have a site clearance prior to  the site visit.  To
apply for the site clearance, the bidders shall complete a CPIC
Clearance Request form (preferably in typed format) and submit
the duly completed and signed form by each participant, by fax
to (819) 953-4944 or by e-mail to

It is a mandatory condition that the CPIC Clearance Request be
submitted for the site visit. It is requested that the CPIC
Clearance Requests be received by this office no later than 
January 14, 2015.  Site Clearance Request Forms received after
January 14, 2015 may not be accepted.  A site clearance obtained
for work performed under similar requirements is not acceptable.
  


Note:
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation.  Bidders should make the
request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of
receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The
debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
