Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: New closing date: June 21, 2018 The work that is the subject of the present invitation to tender consists of the complete rehabilitation of the Chambly Federal Wharf with a length of more than 160 metres. The construction site is situated at the mouth of the Chambly Canal, at the Chambly Canal National Historic Site. The work will be carried out over three distinct phases of construction, which will occur from September 2018 to May 2020. The work consists in particular of the partial deconstruction of the existing pier, the installation of a sheet pile curtain encircling the old pier, the construction of concrete siding, the installation of a concrete slab incorporating a design with a mixture of exposed aggregate type concrete, the development of several port elements associated with this type of work as well as all other related work necessary for the realization of the project. Site Visit : There will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on May 2, 2018 at 10:30 am. The meeting point will nearby the downstream canal lock located on 1840 Bourgogne Avenue in Chambly, J3L 1Z3. The contractor will be selected following an evaluation based on a financial analysis. Public Works and Government Services Canada provides services in Canada's two official languages. Canada retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
