    Scope of Work 
    Renovate an approximately 760 m² area of GOC (Government of Canada) building located at 1050 Notre Dame Ave in Sudbury to accommodate a new mail processing area and associated functions
    The work under this contract covers the supply of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required to complete the mail processing room project as described in the tender documents. The work includes architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural services and security services as described in the Plans and specification and as follows:
    
    - Build an office area to accommodate 1 technician.
    - Renovate an area to accommodate: 1 technician, 2 team leaders           and 4 free workstations.
    - Renovate the floor area as shown on the drawings to accommodate          the processing equipment and other ancillary items.
    - Demolish, remove and dispose existing walls, light fixtures,           ducting, ceilings, floor finishes, etc.
    - Erect new partition wall in the warehouse.
    - Refinish floors.
    - Install new T-bar ceiling.
    - Supply and install new light fixtures.
    - Supply and install power to the new light fixtures.
    - Supply and install all required M&E services to the points of           use for the relocated equipment. Termination by CRA’s           contractor.
    - Supply and install/modify all required heating, ventilation and          air conditioning (HVAC) services.
    - Sprinkler modifications as required.
    - Supply and install one air handling unit c/w supply and return           ducting, steam humidification, condensing unit(s), M&E and           building automation services (BAS).
    - Supply and install new air compressor and air dryer and all           required air distribution piping.
    - Supply power to the new compressor and air dryer.
    - Air balancing c/w air balancing report.
    - All required permits.
    - Marked-up drawings for as built documentation
    
    The duration of work is scheduled to be completed within Nine (9) weeks 
    from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a mandatory site visit on July 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the site,1050 Notre Dame Ave., Main Lobby, Sudbury, Ontario.  
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.
    Bidders must wear their own P.P.E (Personal Protective Equipment) including hard hat and safety boots.
    Bidders are requested to register with the Contracting Officer, Sheila Dhanna at sheila.dhanna@pwgsc.gc.ca or 
    416-512-5855, to confirm their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, 24 hours prior to the site visit.
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS
    
    IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS)
    
    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. 
    
    Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay.  Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

Tenderers should note that Attachments contains the Drawings and Specifications Package which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
