Requirement Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours has a requirement for the rehabilitation of the Port Dalhousie Harbour, located in the Village of Port Dalhousie, on the south shore of Lake Ontario, west of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Scope of Work The work involves encapsulating the existing timber crib wharves with new steel sheet pilings and rock berms. Other associated work to include installation of tieback anchors and the replacement of associated concrete decks. Completion Time The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2021 from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. Optional Site Visit There will be a site visit on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at 1:00 pm. Interested bidders are to meet at the Port Dalhousie Public Parking Lot - located on the west side of harbour at the end of Lakeport Road, adjacent to Lakeside Park. 1. The site visit for this project is optional. The representative of the Bidder will be requested to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be rejected. Mandatory Requirements: Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document. Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid.
