Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation Purposes. The bid must take into account a maximum budget of $17,000,000. Bidders' Conference: A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority Will be held at a location To be determined St.Johns Newfoundland on May 8, 2015 @ 10:00am Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on May 6 2015, and May 7, 2015 @ 0900 at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in St.John's NL Destination: The work shall be carried out at Contractors facility. Work Period: Work Perod: July 2, 2015 Complete: May 20, 2016 Additional Instructions to Work Period: The vessel will be unmanned during the work period and will be considered to be out of commission. The vessel during That period will be in the care and custody of the Contractor And under its control. The vessel will have to be made completely habitable for The ships crew by May 9 2016. Sourcing Strategy: The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
