Tenderers should note that Attachment File(s) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure. Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement: This procurement is subject to the Maa-Nulth First Nations Final Agreement. Work Description: Work to be done under this Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the demolition of existing and construction of new washroom buildings Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino, British Columbia. Work to be performed at the following locations: - Two washroom/shower buildings at Pacific Rim Green Point Campground, 2039 Pacific Highway, Ucluelet, B.C. - One washroom/change room building at Incinerator Rock - One washroom/change room building at Wickaninnish Beach - Two washroom/change room buildings at Long Beach North and South Locations Demolition and Construction of all buildings are to be carried out in two consecutive years in the following sequence: Phase 1 (September 2017 to March 2018): Demolition of existing and construction of new washroom buildings at Incinerator Rock, Wickaninnish Beach and Long Beach North Phase 2 (September 2018 to March 2019): Demolition of existing and construction of new washroom buildings at Green Point Campground and Long Beach South Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed on or before March 31, 2019. For Phase 1 washroom buildings, no work on site can begin until October 10, 2017. Stock pile of material after Labour Day, September 4, 2017, is acceptable. For Phase 2 washroom buildings, no work on site can begin until October 9, 2018. Stock pile of material after Labour Day, September 3, 2018, is acceptable. Bid Depository: The General Contractor must obtain bids for the Mechanical trade through BidCentral Online Bidding for Subcontractors (BOBS) according to its rules of procedure (www.bidcentral.ca/bobs). All questions regarding BidCentral Online Bidding for Subcontractors is to be referred to the BOBS Administrator as indicated in the BOBS rules of procedures. The General Contractor must instruct the Mechanical Trade Contractors bidding directly to the General Contractor to bid on the scope of the work as defined in the BOBS rules of procedures (e.g. trade definitions, specification sections etc.). Notwithstanding anything else contained in this bid solicitation, no Bidder, General Contractor or Subcontractor or any other person or entity will have any claim whatsoever (including but not limited to a claim of negligence) or any compensation of any kind whatsoever against Canada as a result of participation in or use of BOBS, or participation in the BOBS process, or as a result of the interpretation, application or non-application of their rules of procedure.
