MacDonald (DJM) Building Modernization, Charlottetown, PE 5139A: Construction Services, Not Elsewhere Specified 5177BA: Interior Fit-Up/Renovations All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.056687.005 forming part of the bid document. The project includes the rehabilitation and optimization of the Daniel J MacDonald Building located at 161 Grafton Street, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island which was constructed in 1984. The building serves as the national headquarters for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and home for the Veterans Review and Appeal Board (VRAB). The purpose of this construction project is to replace and modernize the asset’s aging mechanical/electrical systems and to modernize the outdated interior space to GC Workplace standards. This project is estimated $40,000,001 or above. (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than ten (10) business days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries are to be made in accordance with S103. Enquiries During The Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the solicitation document. Standard bid and contract security for construction is required. Firm intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services and may be viewed at buyandsell.gc.ca. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
